Updating your company address
A range of information is recorded each company in New Zealand. This includes a number of addresses from – a registered office, address for service and an address for communication. Whenever these details change, you must notify the Companies Office who maintain the registar.

• Updating your registered office or address for service must be updated at least one week before you move to the new address.
  
  
• Any change to other addresses must be made ASAP.
  
  
• Any address, except for the address for communication, must be a physical address in New Zealand ie cannot be a Private Bag, DX or a “virtual office”. Your documents can be stored at Private Box.
  

How to update your company address online
Updating your details online is fast and simple. Please follow the simple steps below:

• Make sure you have the full details of the address which needs to be updated. We supply your address from the members area under Box Setup.
  
• Confirm the date of the change to be notified.
  
• Update the company address details for FREE.
  
  

Please Note: You can update your e-mail address in the Address for Communication section. From now on all annual return will be sent to this email address.
