Pricing changes

With inflation running hot (well over 7% for the past 12 months), it has come to the point we need to adjust our prices slightly to ensure smooth operation over the coming year. NZ Post has also announced they are increasing their pricing, and we have included these details here.

These changes come into effect on the 1st of July, 2023. The changes to subscription rates will be applied on the next renewal after this date.

 

NZ Post changes

NZ Post has announced that on the 1st of July, 2023, their prices will increase by 5% for all courier and international mail services. International letters will increase by 20c across all sizes. A domestic stamp will increase by 30c.

 

Private Box plan changes

Personal mailbox (+5%). New price: $19.95/mo or $199/yr

Business mailbox (+2%). New price: $49.95/mo or $499/yr

Premium mailbox (+1%). New price: $79.95/mo or $799/yr

Virtual Office (+5%). New price $125/mo or $1250/yr

 

Phone services

Phone number rental – no change: $15/mo

Answering service – lite (inc 15 calls): $39.50/mo (+5%)

Answering service – medium (30 calls) and heavy (60 calls): +0.50c (less than 1% change)

Extra calls – $2.65 (+5%)

 

Scanning changes

We have removed the additional fee for extra pages and increased the allowance of free auto scans each account has per month. Details are:

Manual scanning – $1.20 each (+0.40c)

Extra pages – now zero

Scanning on mail arrival (also known as “auto scanning”) – now includes ten free scans each month (up from 5 each month). If you would like help enabling this on your account, please get in touch.

 

Forwarding

No planned changes here except we will now include sending (small) parcels inside New Zealand via courier as part of the free sending allowance.

 

Storage

Storage fees will increase by 5%

  • 0.32c per letter (above the 25 storage limit)
  • Parcels – $6 per kilogram (or part thereof)
    • Min fee $2.10
  • Remember – the first 30 days are free
