Once your mail has been scanned, you can access it at any time by logging into your account.
The PDF copy of your mail will remain available here – even if you have had the original physical copy of the letter removed from the Private Box office (whether the original was posted to you or destroyed it doesn’t matter – the PDF copy will remain on your account).
How to find your previously scanned mail
Simply click the ‘Scanned’ link on the side bar at the top left of the screen.
Clicking that link will take you to a new page where you can view all mail you have had scanned previously. You can download the scanned files to keep a copy of it here.
Erasing the PDF of your scanned mail
If you no longer need the PDF copy, you can select the scanned item and click the trash bin icon to have the scan erased.
PLEASE NOTE: Once a scanned file has been erased from our system, it cannot be restored! The only way to get the scan back would be to re-scan the original piece of mail.
If the original piece of mail has already been posted or destroyed we have no way to recover the file, as the original physical piece of mail will no longer be in the Private Box office. So please be careful when erasing your scanned mail!
